CareTex is a leading custom home builder north of Houston, Texas in NE Harris & Montgomery Co. {The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Oakridge, Lake Conroe, Huffman and surrounding areas}, building 20 custom homes/yr.

Construction time is 12 - 14 weeks from the time the slab is poured; weather permitting.

As we lay out our site we thought we would share some of our work with our prospective Customers. CareTex Custom Builders has built a reputation of offering more standard features & upgrades versus our competition. We hit timelines that others simply can not. When we say we will have a quote for you in 2 weeks, it will be 2 weeks, when we say we will start the home 3 days after closing, it will be 3 days after closing - if you are ready, we will be. This is an unsolicited endorsement of CareTex Custom Builders, as well as David and Renee Nieuwoudt. Our family faced a move back to Houston at the start of 2004. After looking at the existing home market in the area, we decided to build for the first time in our twenty year marriage. Starting a new job, relocating to Houston and our 10 year old twins facing a new school was stressful enough, but based on not finding what we wanted in a home, we were left with no alternative but to start from scratch.

After interviewing with several builders, and spending significant time with David and Renee, we decided to move forward with CareTex. I personally called and discussed their results with ten customers of CareTex and received nothing but praise for the results, but still Lucretia and I were apprehensive, based on our inexperience with building a new home.

To say that we are satisfied would be a tremendous understatement. From the outcome, David and Renee were engaged and accessible, always available to answer our questions and hear our concerns about what ever was on our mind. The finished product exceeded even our expectations! We love our new home and it feels like the place that the Kerlin family was supposed to live in. From what I have seen since the day we met you in April 2002 you not only have our respect but respect from your entire team. When the worst thing that I hear from your people and vendors is "He wants it done now" that tells me you don't jack around.

You have not only built our dream home but you managed to throw in some excellent ideas & options that we did not expect. Now that it is done all of your ideas and options are so very much appreciated!

We just wanted to let you know that we are eternally grateful for the fabulous job you did building our house. Hurricane Ike came and went without any damage. I've had concerns about the house that was built in 8 weeks, but 5 years later it is still standing strong!! (ha)! You're the best.
